My name is Chris and I am a Professional Gardener and Botanist with over 5 years’ experience of working in the horticulture industry. I have mainly worked in private and commercial gardens in London and Shropshire. I am passionate about plant conservation and wildlife gardening so don’t use any pesticides or herbicides. I like working with plants species and cultivars which enhance biodiversity and promote wildlife. My focus is on the plants and planting design – as well as providing a friendly and personalised service.
In my spare time I look to get out with the Botanical Society of the British Isles (BSBI) to record wild plants species in Shropshire and beyond. I often spend weekends visiting other innovative gardens to gain ideas and inspiration about new plant cultivars and planting design. I get excited about food production in the garden as well as growing rare heritage varieties – particularly tomatoes and brassicas!
